The company was founded in 2015 by Barrett Owens and Britt Morris to provided mortgage financing to customers of the DFW Metro area and Texas. Capacity is run by Derek Goss who has more than 10 years origination and management experience and more than 15 years in the business. About Jon McCurley

Jon is a veteran of the Dallas market. He has built a solid foundation of clients in the metroplex through his creativity and commitment to his client's specific needs. Jon spent two decades in the mortgage industry and received his MBA from the University of Texas in Arlington. He saw that customers needed an individual solution to sell their home for top dollar. Jon's first client called Jon to help with what she thought would be a short sale. After some minor repairs, the house was eligible for FHA financing; the seller walked away with money at closing.

Jon's business has evolved to higher-end homes. One of Jon's attorney clients encouraged Jon to go to law school. Jon started at UNT Dallas College of law in 2018. Jon continues to look for creative solutions to help his sellers get the most for their listings and to make his buyers competitive in reaching their ideal home. An avid "gear head," when Jon is not showing houses or studying, you'll find him driving his 1968 El Camino.
